About Tullia
Tullia, founder and tour curator at Live Laugh Love Italy, was born in Brooklyn, NY. Her parents were from the Italian Alps and she grew up speaking Italian. She has taught Italian at the high school level as well as at the University of Virginia’s School of Continuing Education. She has conducted small group tours to Italy's Lake Garda and Italian Alps region since 2004 and has expanded to Sicily, where she has fallen in love with the island's natural beauty, its unique culture, and its passionate people. She has taken her groups to visit the Veneto. Her latest tour - BC "before Covid" - was to Puglia, the heel of Italy. Her travelers visited Bari - the capital, eaten Pulgia's trademark orecchiette pasta, learned how to make paper maché in Lecce - the "Florence of the South". visited the city cave dwellings of Matera, enjoyed the bread of Altamura and the wine of Manduria and taken to the sea and seen the sunset in St. Maria di Leuca, at the very tip of the heel. Her passion and her intent is to offer tours to every region of Italy and discover each region's uniqueness in landscape, history and cuisine. She is currently planning tours to Lombardy, Italy's most populous and richest region. Think: Milan and fashion and finance.
Think: Lake Como and Lake Garda with their breathtaking mountain backdrops and Mediterranean microclimates. Think: Cremona and violins and music. Tullia loves creating travel packages that create unforgettable experiences in intimate settings which make you feel that you are traveling to places where you have family. "It's not just about the sightseeing. It's about connecting with the people on a personal basis. That's how the best memories are made."
