Here’s why one person loved going to Lake Garda & The Italian Alps with me.

"Outside of occasional travel courtesy of the U.S. Navy, I’ve only been to Italy twice. From late June through early July, 2016, my wife and I traveled around Italy for about 19 days and again, this past September and October, we traveled for another 19 days. During both trips, we wrapped our travels around an 8 day tour with Tullia and Live Laugh Love Italy.
For the first tour in 2016, we traveled with Tullia to Lake Garda and the Dolomites region of the Italian Alps. The second tour was her inaugural Venice and the Veneto region tour. Both our trips and the tours with Tullia were wonderful.
After traveling around doing the normal touristy things, it was so great to join Tullia’s tours and see, do, eat and stay places we just wouldn’t have found on our own. Days were packed with a wide variety of sights, history, guided walks, great restaurants and fun. We tasted wine, grappa, olive oil and cheese; traveled by speed boat, car, van and barge; walked on ‘water’, eaten wild boar, tried numerous Italian beverages, scurried down tiny allies in Venice and saw some marvelous works of art, historical locations and buildings and colorful fishing villages. And I can’t forget Otzi, the 5,000 year old ice man mummy. What a treat that was. For me personally, since one of my main reasons for traveling to Italy is to dine on fabulous food, I just loved the variety and quality of restaurants Tullia finds for her trips.
Finally, one of the best reasons to travel with Tullia, is Tullia herself. She is a delightful person, warm, caring and a lot of fun, especially at dinner when we toast the day’s numerous memories. Her tours don’t end with our departure, but continue on with a collection of emails recalling each day and each email is filled with a collection of wonderful pictures helping us recall the very personal nature of Tullia’s tours."

"Our trip to Sicily with Tullia was wonderful. I can’t imagine a better tour leader. Tullia was attentive to every need — down to packing snacks in her backpack every day! She planned the trip expertly down to the last detail – even the bus drivers were a treat! We stayed in comfortable hotels and ate excellent meals. Tullia made sure that we had many different kinds of experiences: we saw the most important churches and archeological sites, but we also experienced a large portion of the Sicilian countryside, visited fishing villages, had two wines tastings, and took a cooking class. We saw about half the island, yet we never spent more than a few hours on the bus. The group of ten was a perfect number for a low-key and intimate group. All in all, a trip to remember. Thank you, Tullia!"

"We had the great pleasure of spending a whirlwind, two-day tour of Northern Italy with Tullia Lynch during June this year. Without a doubt, we would have never enjoyed this part of Italy without her exuberant, expert guidance.
Tullia Lynch is the owner and passionate guide for Live, Laugh, Love Italy small group tours. She has dual American/Italian citizenship, and splits her time between the United States and Italy. Tullia is fluent in three languages; Italian, English and French. As only an effervescent insider can, she shared with us events, sights, and spaces only the locals know. She showed us breathtaking vistas at Villa Banale, Lago de Santa Massenza, Stenico, La Rocca, Riva del Garda, Molveno and more.
One evening, she took us to her cousin’s enchanting, authentic osteria tucked in the hills of Stenico. Picnic tables sat under a grape vine arbor, just how I dreamed an outdoor Italian venue would appear. The meal was excellent; the tiramisu, memorable.
I cannot recommend Live, Laugh, Love Italy tours more highly."

"Tullia shared Sicily with our small group with a behind the scenes experience. Tullia has many contacts so we had opportunities to meet locals and get a true flavor of the country. We were not rushed, personal needs were met, food was plentiful and outstanding, accommodations were lovely, and Tullia is a delightful person to travel with."

"For a comprehensive immersion into the geography, history, culture, and especially cuisine of Sicily, one need look no farther than the yearly Sicily tour (of 8+ days) led by Tullia Lynch of Live, Laugh, Love Italy in Charlottesville, Virginia. As a native speaker of Italian (and instructor of same at The University of Virginia), she handles arrangements within Sicily for your lodging (usually 4-star), hiring of English-speaking tour guides, and nearly all meals. Thus one has no concerns about stumbling along with a limited capability in Italian to accomplish some transaction, nor making oneself understood with a native vendor having limited English capability. Each day is filled with jitney bus travel to destinations such as unique architectural or cultural features and agricultural enterprises. On her 2016 trip we had at least two wine-tastings and even an olive-oil tasting, each on-site at the purveyor's rural location. We visited numerous sites of significant cultural importance, many of world-class uniqueness."
